The heart of our program is driven by the vision of Diana E. Pulido Coutiño. With a unique background as a Mexican Lawyer and a Child Development Teacher Associate (East Los Angeles College), Diana brings a rare blend of professional integrity, meticulous organization, and a deep love for early education.
While Diana’s credentials are extensive, her most important title is "Mom." For the past seven years, Diana has built a beautiful life alongside her husband in Los Angeles, and three years ago, their world was transformed by the birth of their daughter.
Spring Project was born out of a love for early childhood education and community support, and now, as the mother of a thriving three-year-old, Diana understands the hopes, the worries, and the dreams that every parent carries. Her daughter is the "motor" and the inspiration behind every detail of this program—from the safety of the environment to the joy in the curriculum.
Since opening her first facility in Downtown Los Angeles in 2020, Diana has spent over four years immersed in the diverse landscape of Early Childhood Education (ECE). Her time with Childcare Careers allowed her to observe and implement the world’s most respected pedagogical models, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Head Start. This hands-on experience in various settings has shaped her ability to curate the very best practices for our children.
Diana is committed to the highest standards of safety and educational excellence:
College Units: Including 30+ specialized units in ECE/Child Development and +30 GE.
Certified Professional: Fully certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Continuous Growth: Currently finalizing her Child Development Permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
In addition to her ongoing training at the California Early Care and Education Workforce Registry.
Specialized Training: Recently renewed her certification in the Child Care Bridge Program, ensuring she remains at the forefront of trauma-informed and supportive care.
Diana believes that while a child’s "job" is to play, her responsibility is to be the architect of that play. By balancing meticulous planning with spontaneous discovery, she transforms natural curiosity into profound learning experiences.
"I am committed to being a positive, assertive force in the lives of the children in my care, ensuring they feel seen, supported, and inspired every single day."
